Someone claiming to be with Microsoft abd trying to gain remote access to my PC.

I have two home numbers and have received these calls on both numbers. Forth time called I kept them on the phone for 30 minutes by saying their instructions were not working. They walked me through the run instructions more than 6 times. I was not entering anything on my computer. He finally told me to "go to hell" and hung up on me.

They called again and my wife answered. She said "you already called and told my husband to go to hell so you go to hell" and then hung up on them. I expect to receive more calls. If I have time I will mess with them again.

In the past 2 weeks, a foreign accented man called at least 3X a day, at odd hours and alerted me that my computer is crushing and he is Windows rep to help, and immediately he starts with a series of commmands, "go to start', etc. I reported the # to verizon and they said it is a sollicitor and they blocked the number in my line.

Called 3X (so far) today. After I say "hello" there's complete silence for ~20 seconds, then woman's voice says "Goodbye".

Total Scam. Received calls at 10pm at night. I get 3-4 calls / day. Often it is just a hang up.
Today I had fun with the person and told them I didn't have a computer in the house. They couldn't believe a person does not have a computer. Then they tried to tell me whomever was calling must have been from a different company using the same phone number, not their company. Even though I didn't have a computer she continued to try to sell me computer protection services.
