These people insisted that I had problems with my Microsoft and wanted me to let them walk me through fixing the errors. I asked them why a legit company would call me over and over at all hours of the day and night. This made the guy angry and he started yelling at me about being stupid not wanting to fix my computer. I've asked them five different times to take my name off their list and quit calling me. I just got another call from them about five minutes ago. I don't think they understand English.
I was called and told they had recieved many errors for my computer and they have the answer. They were of foreign because I had to keep telling him I did not understand what he was saying, thenhe sent me to another man talking in the same language. I was so confused and knew this was not a valid call so hung up before the third man come on line to connect to my computer to fix it from all the malicious bugs in my computer. I had been having trouble with my computer, but something told me this was not valid. He ask me to enter in to my computer eventever and it showed all the errors on my computer, but I believe this was a scam and he might have downloaded something to my computer by my putting this into my computer. So please if you get a call like this hang up immediately, this is a scam
They call several times a day, and no one is there, tried to call back (out of curiosity and to tell them to knock it off!) and the operator recording says you must dial a number 1---to that, keep getting recording. This is a scam, how do we stop it!! Very irritating.
Caller with Indian accent said they were with Microsoft and wanted me to type EVENRTVWR into my run.
I hung up and they called back three times.
Identical as the call to Anonymus on Oct 28.
I just received a similar call; could barely understand them & just hung up.
