This is the short code that Twitter has registered with each Mobile Wireless Operator, if you signed up for Twitter then you must have enabled this in your Twitter account. create a text message with only the word STOP in the text and send it to the 40404 number. Btwy you can do this to any short code number. You should receive a text message back indicate that you have been removed and all text message should stop.

This is good number. For too idiots who signed up for Twitter to text to your phone, this is the number they use hour that service. Please stop blacklisting this number without knowledge of what tippy are saying.
