I received one too and called discover. They said it is a text for security validation. In conclusion, this is not a spam

I called discovr and they said it is text from their security department and it is valid

Received a text asking if I made a certain transaction, after I received a legitimate text asking the same from Discover's real number. Immediately contacted Discover support to ask about this fake text and make sure everything was ok on the account. Still in chat with them actually. The scam text gives a number to call that at first glance looks like one of their real contact numbers but the last four digits are different. It also gives a code to input when you call. I passed all this along to Discover.

same, received text asking about 74 cent charge - to reply y or n or call 800 number with specific code. not going to reply, will check balance and or call number on back of card - already been scammed, 5 users added to account - cards came in mailbox a few months back, new card issued, caught before any damage

Received a text about a dollar charge to Lyft. Wants me to respond to confirm if it was me or not. Not sure if it's real, especially with the super low dollar amount. They normally call me for fraud instead.
