Called this number and it had been disconnected. When I put the number into this complaint a video game called "Game Strike" came up. It was like a military game and did a three count countdown and then let me close it out.

They wanted access to my computer

Turns out the IRS (indian revenue service) also helps fix your computer at the low low cost of total access and privileges to your computer. If you try to work with them they will probably gain remote access to your PC and force you to pay them to unlock it which you should just take to a shop to get done. You shouldn't have to pay someone who fucked up your computer to unfuck it up. IF you fell for this scam and paid them (regardless of whatever they did and if it fixed your computer back or not) contact your bank immediately to reverse the charges and lie if you have too, tell them you did NOT authorize the payment. If you can't lie then just tell them you were forced to pay to get access to your computer back, basically blackmail. Your bank will probably get your money back because these guys are just international thieves though it would be a good idea to see about changing any payment information they may have gotten out of you imeediately.

Called 7/2/2015 at 1:50 pm. A lady with an accident said she said she was calling regarding my computer. I asked are you sure you have the right person and she said yes. She said she was calling on behalf of Microsoft because of a lot of download problems. I said I have no problem and unless she was from Microsoft and could tell me my account particulars I was not speaking to her. She of course had no information, I hung up on her and blocked the number.

Normally I don't answer calls from #'s I don't recognize, but I got a call from this number, when I was expecting an important call. I answered the call without first checking to see if I knew the number.
My first clue that this was a scam of some sort, was the way the guy pretended that he knew all about me. But he didn't use my name or ask me to confirm my identity, like real business callers do if they call you. The phone # he called belongs to my employer, not me, so when he tried to tell me about my "recent internet down loads" I knew he was full of it. My work phone is in no way connected to my home or work computer, and even if it was connected to my work computer, I rarely go on the internet on my work computer, so there aren't any down loads to talk about. I told him, "I don't know who your trying to call or what your talking about. I waiting for an important call and I don't have time to talk to you." Then I hung up. and he didn't call back.
