Rec'd call this afternoon from male with E Indian accent, claiming to be from US Technical Support. Says my PC reported that it was infected with virus or malware. When I questioned how this was possible, he said all Windows machines send error info to the Microsoft server. I told him this was not possible, that error reports from PCs are anonymous. He disagreed. In any case, I told him I wouldn't allow him access to my PC so he could install adware, etc. I told him NOT to call me again. He actually remained polite and wished me a good day.
CID only showed phone # and "Name Unavailable."
