I received 3 text messages from this phone number claiming to be AT&T warning me that I have reached the limit on my data plan. But since I know the correct limit on my phone plan this message can NOT possibly be AT&T. I’m going to report this number and forward the actual text messages onto the proper authorities. Anyone else that sees this message do not respond or click on any of the links in the message. Since this seems to be a widespread act of scamming and fishing for peoples information and credit cards. Hopefully it will come to an end sooner rather than later. I will be following up with this to ensure that this comes to a solution.

We keep getting messages from this number CLAIMING to be AT&T, saying firt that we have used up 75% of out data and warning that if we go over they will add another Gb for an additional $15. Then later that day another message saying they have charged the $15. This happens every day with an occasional first message on one day and the "We charged you an extra$15 for 1 more Gb" the next. This happens whether we turn mobile data off or not or even keep our phones off. However the extra $15 never shows up on our bill. It asks that if we are "flying through data" we should contact them to change our plan--necessitating our CC#, I am sure--S.C.A.M.!!!

I got this text message from 7535 with the following: AT&T Free Msg: Thanks for activating AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect. Be sure to download the apps@ att.com/securitycallprotect
I don't know if this is legit or not... I will investigate and get back if I learn anything.

Says they are AT&T and can't renew my long distance add on service. However, this "bill" isn't due for another 2 weeks, and there is plenty of money on my account to renew. SCAMMMMMM

Its AT&T, its the payment reminder and confirmation. Those of you who are saying it's a scam, your phone number was most likely a former AT&T number, and for whatever reason, it hasn't been removed from their systems yet.
