I had a weird purchase on my card and this number told me the exact last 4 digits of my credit card which alarmed me. So I call the number on the back of my card and sure enough a transaction I didnt make was processing. I havent used my credit card since before the pandemic.

In short this is unfortunately a real phone number for wellsfargos alert bots.
