My 2006 car was totaled & my 2013 car was owned by 3 others after the original purchaser. I'm sure these auto warranty scammers have some kind of way to obtain phone numbers to robocall, regardless of whether those numbers have anything to do with actual existing warranties. Here's the voicemail transcription:
"About your car's extended warranty, since we have not gotten a response. We are giving you a final courtesy call before we close out your file, press 2 to be removed and put on our do not call list, press 1 to speak with someone about possibly extending or reinstating your car's warranty again, press 1 to speak with a warranty specialist."

This toll free number is mentioned in voicemail transcripts which supposedly originate from (434) 554-5633 How they can fake caller IDs I'm not sure, but this scam probably will continue employing them.

Phishing - debt collection scam

Probably a spoofed number also.

There's a amateur scammer out there who uses random Wifi numbers for the spam, & sends them like a huge chat.

Contents read as follows:

We apologize for the temporary phone outage. Due to widespread social media outage on 4th of October our services became overloaded. You were one of the 117.283 affected customers.

Area code spoofing, robo dialed but not a robotic voice...
perhaps a real person live or prerecorded.
