I thought this was legit at first until I made arrangements to pay Virgin and paid them directly through my bank. The same guy it seemed would still call me every single day, despite having paid. He tells me every day that he won't call anymore, and he still does. I asked for his supervisor and after fiddling around and saying "ok, supervisor" before askng me to be on hold 3 times in a row, he finally put me on hold for less than a minute only to come back and say "there's a technical difficulty that won't let me transfer the call to my supervisor". At that point i told him it would be hard to believe that a company as big as Virgin has the same guy calling the same people everyday on a phone system that can't transfer calls. After I asked him to explain why he was calling every day, despite the payment, he didn't say anything. So I accused him of conducting a scam, and all he said is that if I give him my account id and phone number that he would give me his employee id. This wreaks of scam. I called Virgin and they told me to block the number and that it was indeed a scam. They were willing to block the number from calling me. He assured me that nobody from virgin or their contracted collection agency would be calling me about a missed payment. I guess we'll wait for tomorrow.
