The last time they called me from Florida I asked that they never call me again, so here they are calling and trying to give me a new meter for my diabetes and they then will charge my Medicare except that I am 63 and not eligible yet. I tell them every time that I don't want a new meter as mine is just fine and new just means they are getting paid instead of me to do the field test. That was yesterday. The same number called today while I was someplace I could not answer. The other reason people from Florida call is to have some pain cream sent to me but my doctor has to prescribe it so they can charge my insurance company an arm and a leg. I watched a 60 minutes expose about the family selling this to people via a call center in India and they were charging 10 grand per jar for the same stuff i paid 19 dollars for at Walgreens and I quit using it all the time as it only worked for so long then stopped.

The Gentleman from East India or where ever called said he was from the technical support department and wanted to talk to me about my Windows computer, at which time I said I uninstalled Windows and installed Linux. That stopped him dead in his tracks and then he said he was looking for my brother who was meditating at the time. I told him (brother ) was meditating and he said he'd call back. I had a similar encounter with this gentleman once before and when he said my computer was infected, I told him it was not and that as a Microsoft Windows Engineering technician, I have a malware scanning program that eliminates all malware each morning at a specific time and randomly throughout the day. He then said that I had a virus on my computer and I had been hacked we argued back and forth and I finally said Sir if you don't stop pretending to be a Microsoft employee I am going to report you to the authorities, the computer police and they will have you deported! I then disconnected the call.
