Scam

I rec'd a text saying my debit card was locked and to call immediately to unlock it. When calling a recorded message came on from Verizon (my mobile service) saying to enter my personal pin to be transferred to Chase Bank (which is my bank) not for sure if that is a coincidence or not. I didn't enter my pin but I did send a text back that was accepted.

It's not for your local. police.

Not really associated with the local police associations. It's a scam just to get you to donate money they say they are.

I'm not totally sure what they do I got two different stories. But they called at 6:37 AM which is completely ridiculous! At that time of the morning I don't care who or what they are or have it better be an emergency only call. If you call them back you get a recording but if you put *67 before your number you get music then a live person.
