This guy with a foreign accent calls me from 646-434-9909 and says his name is Steven Johnson and to call him back at 347-637-6452. I call him back & he tells me the last 4 of my social and tells me that there's a lawsuit against me, he gave me a case number, which i searched my local courts for, wasn't able to find any case by that number. He said he was calling to confirm information to which I told him I was not giving him my social security number, He then got a little pissy & said he didn't want it, gave me the case number, said something about court, and hung up on me. he said it had to do with a payday loan. I had applied for a few online, but never got one, then one place charged my debit card $30. I called them to get my money back & after a good 15min of arguing they said it would be refunded. It has yet to be refunded. One thing is for sure, I wil NEVER apply for a payday loan online again.
