Benchmark Services saying it's a civil matter. Total scam!

Scammer

No identification of company in the voicemail; just threats about being served. I have no cases or legal issues, no collectors after me, so just a ploy to get you to call.

Said that I had a legal matter that needed to be cleared up and giving me a phony case number. They left no name so I have no idea who called or what the complaint was related to. The person who called was a real person but the case number that they gave me and the phone number to call was automated. Definite scam.

Caller: Unknown

Caller threatened legal action for some unknown claim against me. No company name was given, no caller name was given, no details of the claim were given, and a number to call back was provided using a robovoice. Plus it wasn't even the number that called. I've gotten these calls for about 2 yrs now, but this time it was a man instead of a woman.

Left a voicemail saying there was an arrest warrant out on me, blah, blah, blah. No company or caller name given...just a number to call.

Caller: Unknown

Unknown female, left a message stating that I had several complaints against me with Multnomah county. They provided a 'case #' and a phone number to call and ended the call by saying "you have been served". I blocked them yesterday with a disconnect, and today they called back 4 times within the space of a minute.

Caller: Jeff Boots

Keeps calling about some complaint filed. Never received an papers regarding any complaint. And no matter how many times they call, which has been many, it's always the second attempt. Suspect scam.

Caller: Unknown

Caller type is unknown. They continually call me looking for someone else. I've left messages that I am not that person, don't know where they are, and to please stop calling me. They threaten to sue, amongst other things. I looked them up in the White Pages and it has a "Scam or Fraud" alert. It also has a high risk Spam/Fraud potential rating.

Caller: AMS & Associates

They call constantly, but never leave messages that indicate what they want. The spam indicator doesn't register them as spam, but if they are legit, they should leave a message as to why they are calling.

Caller: Scam Likely

Robo call 3 times with an hour, claiming they were the IRS, and that they were going to sue me. Per the IRS website, they will not threaten to sue you over the phone. And I'm sure much less via a voicemail or robocall.

Caller: Unknown

No details...didn't answer phone, but looked it up. Scam.

This was a robotic recording. Message was cut off in the beginning, so not sure who it was supposed to be. But the voice was female and said I had a warrant out for my arrest on 5 criminal allegations, and that I needed to call them. At the end of the call, the voice said if I didn't call them, the only thing they could do was wish me good luck.
