They have been calling me the last few days and i had been telling them I'm on the do not call list and they hang up, but call the next day. Today I pressed 1 and asked for a supervisor, got the persons attention and of course did not get a supervisor, but the person did get rude. He told me he can't tell me which credit card company company referred them to me that would be against federal law....nor can they give the the credit card number....so I said okay, so you don't need any of the 30 credit card numbers I have because you already have it, correct? He said well you need to give me that information and I said but you said you already had that information and its against the law for you to give it to me so it must be illegal for me to give it to you. and with all the scammers out there I know you and the credit card company wouldn't want me to risk my providing information on the phone that would make me uncomfortable since you already have the information. And since you have my credit card information and phone number that means you have all my billing information so you don't need that information and since you are calling to lower my interest rate, you have my permission to do that. Only I find it odd the credit card company would want to do that since all my credit cards are kept at a balance of zero. And interest is paid on a balance. So, interest on a balance of zero equals zero so there is no point in lowering my interest rate, now is there. So why don't you remove me from your calling list instead. He got totally upset at me and said he isn't allowed to do so. I said then don't call again, your as stupid as the company you work for. and I hung up on him. What is more funny...all the Credit Card companies have my land line and not my cell phone number. Dah....and he thought I was the dumb one....
