To find out who was calling I pressed 1 to get someone to talk to, but when I said what is your name and business, I got a click and a recorded message saying my number would be put on their do not call list, -- and a disconnect.

I was not home to take the call so the auto dialer tied up the line for 7 minutes and left no message

When called back voice message said

when call was returned got canned message if you do not wish to receive promotional calls in the future press one etc, but the line went dead without naming the company or giving an option to ask about the promotion.

Not to worry, they are on my selective caller blocking list now.
