They claim they are from the Division of Pretrial processing. I just don't know if they are real or a scam. They give another number for you to call.

I received several calls from this number and then they proceeded to contact someone I know trying to locate me. They left a message and she said her name was Emma Peterson and that she was calling from Division of Pretrial. Legal actions against me. They gave me a case number and also gave me another number to call to settle. I finally did speak to her and she told me I needed to pay this money from a payday load from like 8 years ago. I told her I was not paying for something I knew nothing about. She said I would be hearing from someone. They are going to contact the sheriff's department and have me processed. She said this was a final attempt to reach me and that this call was considered contacting me.

A Emma Peterson called me and said there was a case against me and that I had until today to contact them to settle. She also said they would be going to my place of employment to have me served.
