They wanted me to refinance my mortgage with them. They would not take NO for an answer. I finally hung up on her and I blocked her calls but now she constantly gets to my voice-mail. The phone won't ring though. I will get numerous voice mail alerts which is very irritating.

Think I may have figured it out. I used my store card for clothing and forgot to tell my husband. Since he pays all the bills he didn't know this needed to be paid. So my guess is the call must be about that. It would have helped if they said why they were calling. I have removed them from my blocked call list. I will deal with it this morning.
They called and asked for (my name), I asked what it is about. They never said who they were all they said was "it's a personal matter" I said well she isn't here right now, and they said they will call back. My mistake. I should have told them they had the wrong number, now they relentlessly call. I blocked them, but if the phone is in use the call blocker doesn't block the calls. Instead you get a big red warning message asking if you want to accept the call. I was on a business call and the big red message popped up 3 times.
They called my cell phone telling me there was a block put on my bank card and I would not be able to make any purchases online. They said to press 1 to resolve the issue. I just hung-up on them. It didn't sound right to me. Anyway, my bank (Bank of America) always calls me if suspicious activity is suspected. I really believe this is a scam.
Man called my cell phone asking for my husband. I said who are you? Are you trying to sell something? He said no this is business. I said well this is not his phone. Then he asked for me (by name). I said who are you? He said Allied I think. He was very hard to understand. He asked if I were her and I said no. He said he would take me off his list. I rather doubt that. I'm not going to take chances. I will use my Call Blocker on my cell.
I got a call from this number (1 700 000 0000) and a woman said she was with Bank of America and wanted to speak with my husband. I asked if she was the loan officer (as it happens I was expecting a call from them about a loan) but she said no. I asked what did she need? She wouldn't talk with me, she only wanted to speak with my husband. Like an idiot I gave her his cell phone number. He didn't answer his phone because he was busy. Later I looked at the number displayed and decided to call it but got a message saying the call couldn't be completed.
- Not sure what to think about this one.
