Received a call from this number today (9 Jul 2020.) No name on the CID. Answered anyway. To response my "hello." Then I heard the disconnection sound.

Received a call to our land line at 11:54 am (Central Time). This is how the number displayed on our Caller ID: 851-1022-2726 INVALID NUMBER. I just picked up the receiver and immediately hung up, so if there was a voice on the other end (live or recorded), I didn't hear it. Because the number was so odd, I couldn't add it to our block list. This is the full number as it displayed on our on-TV Phone Services Call History screen (we have AT&T for TV & land line phone service): INVALID NUMBER 10748511022272 with the last 6 (which displayed on the phone caller ID) not showing because of the length of the number. This is the full number: 107485110222726.
Car warranty expiration scam
Received a call to our land line from 314-627-1447 (St. Louis, MO area) this morning (Friday, 21 Oct 2016) at 10:39 am. Caller ID: Unassigned (that is a new one - I have never seen that Caller ID before.) Figuring it was some sort of robocall scammer, I answered out of curiosity. Once I said "hello" a female voice, which to me sounded like a recording came on to say, "Hello, this is Julie with Home Security Promotions, blah, blah, blah." The recorded voice talked about a home security system and then asked if I was a home owner interested in home security. I replied I was not. There was a pause after my reply and then the same female recorded voice came on to say "OK. Thank you." I hung up. Since we do not do business with any company with the name "Home Security Promotions," the call was in violation of the Do Not Call registry for both our state and for the nation.
Caller ID: Summlin, Barbara. I answered because I thought it might be a call from a volunteer for one of the charitable organizations in the St. Louis, MO area to which we donate. After I said "hello" a recorded female voice came on saying she was "Veronica" from "Lender Services." So, it was really a robocalling scammer. Note: We know no one named Barbara Summlin.
