I got a call today from a man, who said his name was FTinner Corner, a foreigner saying I was chosen to receive a $ 9.000 student grant that I did not have to pay back through Western Union.
He knew my name and my address. He said I would get this grant because I had not filed bankruptcy or had criminal charges in the last six months, and because I paid my bills on time. He told me to call 206-317-1376 and give them my money confirmation number that he had given me. I called that number and a man again a foreigner said his name was Mike parker and he was the manager for the US Government Dept of Treasury, I said how do I know this is not a scam, he hung up on me. I called him back and let him know I knew this was a scam and I had reported him and do not call me again .
