A lady call saying i owed $600.00 on a payday loan that i was in default and would settle for $400.00 , when i replied i never took the loan , she asked for bank statements faxed to 1-866-804-0304 to prove it and was told not to black out account numbers .....payday loan scam
Man with a very thick middle eastern accent told me the charges were being brought against my SSN# and that i would recieve a summons to appear in court and be arrested in 4 hours , when i told him to come to my door personaly and put the cuffs on me he cussed me out and hung up. this was for a pay day loan i never got and stated only i knew all the details.
Comes from a call center in India , says you qualify for a auto loan at 1.2% interest if you deposit 1500.00 on a card for them to steal from you and guarentee a car or truck of your choice with low monthly payments
Caller claimed to be Martin Wilkerson (Agent) and that i had a payday loan outstanding and charges were being brought about my SSN# and i had defrauded the loan(which i have never taken) and that i would be arrested on Tues. morn they don't arrest on holidays for family time and that my record would be downloaded to the court system and i would be in big trouble , they ( with a very thick Indian ) accent would be happy to take care of this matter and clear it up for a settlement of $562.85 . he could not give exact dates and month of loan , i very nicely (which i am unaccustume to being ) ask him to come and arrest me his self and then i informed him after he told me this call is being recorded that i was recording it also, he rather abruptly hung up on me!!! IT IS A SCAM TO GET MONEY YOU DON"T OWE!!!
