Medicare scam

Scammer thinks spoofing will defeat my ad blocker.

This number calls me repeatedly, yet never leaves a message.

These people are relentless. The company behind the product they are pushing should be fined into oblivion.

These people are trying to trick those on Medicare into signing up for some "program," claiming they will get an amount of money back every month with their Social Security. Plus, they'll have dental and vision coverage. This amount happens to equal the amount they pay for Medicare A & B. That tells me that they are selling an Advantage plan.

At that point, I told them I don't have Medicare and to take me off their list.

At no point did they identify which company they are with.

I want to sue whoever gave these scumbags my number. They called twice yesterday and once today (so far). They spoofed a local number.

These people call me every 2-4 hours, on the nose, pretty much. I know it's the same caller because it's just too coincidental that I'd get calls every two hours like that.

They're getting better at getting around call blocking software, or so they think. They are now spoofing local numbers in order to avoid area code blocks, but they are still failing. I never get any notifications or interruptions, because I block ALL calls that are not in my address book.

Phone companies could stop robocalls if they wanted by just requiring some sort of authentication similar to a captcha that would confirm that it is a live human being calling. Audio captchas DO exist. The blind use them all the time. Actually, call blocking software on the consumer end can do that.

I don't respond to robocalls.

These people just don't seem to get it! Thanks to Call Control, my phone doesn't even ring with these calls anymore.

These people call every single day to try and push me into hiring overpriced services. I canceled my membership for this reason, yet they continue to call.

Why, WHY won't our government do something about these constant robocalls from scammers and telemarketers? We have the technology to stop these calls, but it would involve the cooperation of the phone companies.

As it is, I block all calls that are not in my address book. That can be a major pain when someone I need to talk to tries to call me.

These callers are scammers spoofing US numbers.

The caller is overseas but spoofing Texas numbers. I wish the Call Control app would just allow automatic hangup on these numbers and not notify me. I get several calls a day, and just seeing them pop up on my screen is irritating.

When will these idiots ever learn that I don't answer unknown numbers? They never leave a voice mail, so it's obviously scammers or spammers.

Don't know why something isn't done about all these calls.
