Problem 1) I changed my number with Humana to avoid these calls over 2 years ago. The number they called is not the # they have on my current records. Problem 2) The callback # is not Humana. Problem 3) They will in the future offer a visiting nurse. There's articles online about this tactic. Humana pays nurses or retired drs to visit you (incl travel, hotel, car rentals) -because they care and all that BS- then they fake reports they submit, claiming that you have conditions that you DON'T have so CMS pays Humana more for your care for conditions you don't have. Humana gets a set amt per month for each diagnosis they can saddle upon you. CMS caught them doing this so Bottom Line: Always view calls like this as a SCAM! This info is easily found online if you want to source it.
