I took out a payday loan on Thurday August 29th to help pay with my rent. The agreement was for one of them to be paid on September 7th and the other was for September 21st. Today, September 6th I received a phone call on my cell phone that I ignored because I was at work. Then someone at my job told me that there was someone on the line for me so I had them transfer me the call. He proceeded to tell me that his name was Andew White and I had a law suit filed against be for an unpaid loan. I proceded to tell him that I was at work and he has no business calling my place of work. He told me that if I didnt get in touch with him today that it's out of his hands, and he wishes me luck in what is going to happen from now on.
I took a break from work and I called the 415-376-1481 number he provided me with and this guy named Jame Bimello answered. (He was a hindu/indian) with an italian name so I knew something was off.
I asked him what this was about and he asked me if I knew I was getting arrested at the end of my work day. He told me that I had to pay 685.00 in 30 min or I'm getting arrested and a suit is being filed against me. This his man James, told me my full name, my social security number and my place of work.
I got scared and called my mom and the cops and the cops told me it was a fraud.
I got on the phone with my friend who is a court officer and he and I left work early and went to the bank because there was money taken out of my account electronically without my consent. Now I think my identity is in jeopardy.
Im worried about my direct deposit being taken out without my authorization. I contacted the FTC and reported them, then when my court officer friend got on the phone with them they hung up on him.
I am in the process of contacting the Attorney General, the office was closed when I called.
And, I have been on the phone with the 3 credit bureau on this matter securing my identity.
Im so scarred, they said they were coming to my job to arrest me, I don't want to get arrested, I have never been in trouble.
