I Receive regular calls from this scam, which I never answer -- Numbers are spoofed (Not real). Best defense is to use caller ID and just ignore all calls you don't recognize, and let them roll to voicemail. The Do Not Call registry is not effective against telephone scams, only works for legitimate telemarketers.
