This is a diabetes supply company that basically preys on the elderly and leads them to believe their medications and treatments are at risk if they don't do X, Y or Z, and they scam them into using their company so they can milk Medicare for millions. When I visited my father last year, he had over four years of supplies from five different companies and YOUR tax dollars are paying for this! This companies are lower than slugs!
Great...these jerks are calling my father in the nursing home! He hasn't walked in almost a year and he is in the early stages of dementia. I just had a new phone installed in his room because of this and within less than a week, they're back at it again! How the h*ll do you stop these people!?!?
I checked my father's call log on his phone because he said he couldn't understand what these people wanted when they called...he is in a nursing home with progressive dementia and hasn't walked in almost a year! These people are nothing but sheisters! I called the number back but they give no indication what they're doing...I hope the legal system catches up with them eventually!
Hot spice has somewhat the right idea, but doesn't go far enough! Sue them! I did and won! They called me day and night, Sundays, you name it. With the information I got from EveryCall, which I passed on to an attorney (I used Lemberg and Associates but I'm sure there are many such excellent law firms out there who can help), and I won...$750! Not a lot of money BUT the calls stopped. They are now calling my sister and I put her in touch with Lemberg, and it looks like another victory is in sight. If enough people sue (and I promise you that it doesn't cost you a dime!), these moronic, gangstalking, strongarming, gestapo collection b*stards WILL STOP!
I got a message on my machine telling me to call an 800 number or to log on to www.takhargroup.com. I checked out the site and find out they are a collection agency for Columbia House. What the h*ll is going on with these people? I haven't done business with Columbia House in over 40 years (when I was young and stupid) and I remember closing out that account because, even then, I was able to smell a scam (it just took me longer back then to do so). As I recall, they ran me around in circles trying to close out the account even though it was LONG AFTER I had fulfilled my obligations (one of those usual bs offers where you get 10 eight-tracks...yes, it was that long ago...for a penny and only have to buy four more eight-tracks during the lifetime of your "membership"...the problem was that they sent their preselected choices so fast, you couldn't keep up with them, and their billing never made any sense and never corresponded to what you had received. I paid out the ying-yang to get out of that one. So why are they calling me now? I'll just add them to my list of rejected callers.
This is John M again. These guys keep calling me three to four times a day. They start as early as 8:00am and go to as late as 8:50pm. I never answer. I've entered their number on my Caller ID as "DO NOT ANSWER" and I just checked my call log and I've been getting at least three calls per day for the last ten days or so.
