I found this number on my answering machine and after some digging found out it is from First Revenue Assurance. There was no message left on y machine......

We got this call and my spouse answered it. Turns out it's from Wells Fargo and what they want to do is send out you you a long-term insurance packet but first they want you to give them your information so that they can enroll you for the first month, which will take effect as soon as the packet is mailed out to yo and if after you've inspected the information after 30 you don't want it you call them before the 30 days are up to unenroll.

I too got this call, but thankfully I didn't actually pick up and answer it. Sounds like a nightmare in the making from others I've read about who did answer. So I came up with my own game plan and thought I'd share....
Just a thought as to how to beat them:
program this number [1-347-263-2551] into your phones under the name SCAMMERS so you won't accidentally answer it (..that's what I'm going to do). Since the 'bot doesn't seem to like answering machines, then maybe that's the way to get them to stop calling us. Their automated system (I call them 'bots, short for robots) hung up when my machine answered! Those 'bots record the time humans pick up which tells their 'operators' that the number is 'live', so maybe the only way to beat them is by programming in their number so we aren't so easily duped! Can't hut to try- - - - hope this idea was helpful.

There was nothing actually said pre se' because I screen all my calls and when they're automated telemarketers then whomever's calling usually hang up. Today all it said on the Caller ID was NEW YORK 1-347-263-2551. So I Google the number and find this site and after reading what others have said I am glad I didn't answer the call. Thanks everyone for the help! Keep up the Good job!
