My Caller ID read 0000, so I let it go to voicemail (I sent it to voicemail three times because he called back again and again). It was a very lengthy message from an Anthony something. He had a very thick accent from some country in Asia or the Middle East. I couldn't really understand him (and neither could my voicemail to text feature!!). And it did sound like an extremely busy call center with a LOT of background noise.

From what I could get from the message was that it was for me and they said the last four of my social security number and that I was being sued for some legal matter, though he didn't say what legal matter it was. He said that he was from the legal department of the Federal Claim Investigation Headquarters of the United States. He said there was a complaint regarding my SSN and then he provide the last four of my SSN.

He then said there is a loss of file (???) and that I need to call him back immediately at 484-206-3787. If I don't call back, I will face legal consequences. They would start legal actions on me regarding these criminal allegations. The police would pick me up at my home where I would spend the rest of my life in jail and it would cause me to lose my job and my social security number would be blocked.

Again he instructed me to call back and claimed that they were just trying to help me out of these legal matter.

I tried to call the number back and it rang about 5 times, then went to voicemail. But it wasn't his voicemail. It was a standard answering machine woman voice that said "Sorry, the person at Extension 1684722967 is unavailable" and to leave a message. But then said "Sorry. the user's mailbox cannot accept any more messages at this time"
