Unknown caller supposedly from New York caller ID was blocked

Two rings and a hangup
Tried researching it. No direct connection but search engine kept bringing me back to debt collectors. We're paid up in good standing so no reason for a debt collector to call

Apparently from Fort Walton Beach, FL. I've got no reason to be receiving any calls from there

Call was almost immediately blocked and dumped. What's interesting is the seemingly incomplete phone number.

Hide their caller ID behind a letter "V" followed by a long string of apparently random numbers

Second time I've got called by these people. Recoding of woman saying/explaining something in Spanish. No option for English.

Jennifer. Student loan relief. I haven't been a student in over 30 years.

Range twice and hung up. Caller ID said Credit Bureau but number displayed appears to belong to private residence. Suspect both a spoof.

It's a AI robot. Pretty convincing except opening line is always something about "trying to get a hold of you...."

These people have been calling me for nearly a month now. Voice is a robot. Opening line, "Your harder to get ahold of than...". That's your que to hang up.

When the robot starts talking his opening line is "You know your harder to get ahold of than...". That's your que to hang up.

Software did not block. I had to force hang up.

Unsolicited sales call for a medical brace I don't need or want. And thank you Verizon / Samsung for turning my call block off and allowing this call to get through.

How did they get my number? Why do they think I care? Where the heck is the opt out button?
