One of my call blockers said it was a spoof caller using a close phone number to mine. Definitely a scam.

Caller: Spoof Caller

Whoever they were, left a threatening voicemail for another person. They then said they would wait 3 seconds for that person to clear the room as their message was for her ears only. That was the end of the voicemail. I have heard of this kind of thing before and the caller was trying to con the answerer. Beware of this number... to they are con artists.

Caller: Unknown

According to callercenter.com, this number is or was registered to a DOUGLAS ROSE in SPRING VALLEY, NY. Calls received from this number should be treated and prosecuted as FRAUD. The voicemail-to-text stated: "24 working hours and once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at the moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 845-445-0742. I repeat 845-445-0741. Thank you." The voicemail was done in an automated female voice.

Caller: Unknown

They don't leave a voicemail and when you do a reverse number lookup, they say they are a different agency depending on which number calls in... All with the same phone number? Give me a break!!! Definite scam!!!

Caller: Collection Scam

From the Clay County (Missouri) Sheriff's Office on facebook:

"Today we've received SEVERAL reports of people getting scam phone calls from a New York state area code with a recorded message threatening charges if you don't call them back. It just so happens the facebook guy for the Sheriff's Office got the same message on their work line this morning as well, and obliged their request for a return phone call. He spoke to an "Officer Alex Welsh" until they hung up after realizing they were talking to the real cops.

Be careful about who you give personal information to, especially over the phone. Don't be a victim!

Here is a portion of what the recorded message says:

"taken under custody by local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request that you get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 929-268-1023. I repeat 929-268-1023. Thank you."

My digital voicemail said: They are from Microsoft Security and they need you to call a number to keep your computer from crashing due to some kind of breach. They are NOT Microsoft Security at all... a total SCAM. Beware!

Did not answer due to the Caller ID saying Robo Call.

Caller: Unknown

The Caller Type is Unknown. I don't answer phone numbers that I don't recognize. They didn't leave a Voicemail message either... a probable red flag.

Caller: CALLER

A couple other search engines said that while the Caller ID for (904) 345-6122 said Brooks Health-M..., a reverse phone number search said owner was: Eleanor Kingsley, Waterfront Dr, Atlantic Beach, Florida. This number, Caller ID, and owner info may be legit, but I was scammed out of a lot of money by con man with that same surname who had ties to Florida. So I suggest extreme caution.

Even though this is not a scammer, it is an annoying and unwanted telemarketing spammer. Says that you won a trip to Branson, but I believe that it is just a telemarketing front for timeshares.

With all of the reports left on 800 Notes and other places, this number should have been community blocked a long time ago. The caller ID says MasterCard Debit. I don't have a MasterCard... debit or credit. When you call back it says the number is not in service. Please Community Block this number.

Caller: Mastercard Debit

The Perfect Origins Probiotics are being given horrible customer reviews. They are right, see: https://youtu.be/xfKpG7TKekc I've experienced the same problems as this consumer. I'm blocking it as unwanted telemarketing.

This number and (631) 407-1077 show Parker, Amy on Caller ID. They call every few minutes and never leave a voicemail. I don't answer names and numbers that I don't recognize especially when they don't leave a voicemail message.

Caller: Parker, Amy

Caller ID said Parker, Amy for this number and for (914) 662-9881. They call every few minutes until I can block them. I never answer names or numbers that I don't recognize and that never leaves a voicemail message.

Caller: Parker, Amy

Called but did not leave a voicemail message. MTL requesting support for the Democratic Party.

Caller: Cory Peterman

This is a porn message. It could be even possibly be a child pornographer or just a phisher. Either way, if not illegal, it's against the Do Not Call protocols. Thank you ahead of time for its removal.

This is a very questionable timeshare spam caller. Too devious and hiding truth to be on the up & up. I warn anyone dealing with these people to be on guard.

Caller: KANSAS

According to the internet reports, this number is spam telemarketing to sell time-market shares. They say you have won a Branson, Missouri vacation. Then before you hang up, they tell you that all you have to do is listen to a presentation highlighting the joys of time-share ownership in the Branson area.

That presentation is a high-pressure sales occasion and I know from personal experience, you are never told the whole truth. Beware.

Caller: Unknown

Calls, but doesn't leave a voicemail message. Other complaints say this is a scam and I am inclined to believe them.

Caller: Market Place

Calls but leaves no voicemail. When you call the number back it says all of their circuits are busy, please try again later. The internet has numerous complaints against this number. Apparently this number offers to lower your credit card interest rates... but most reports say it is a spam/scam number.
