call_reporter's profile and activity

I was charged .14 dollars on my credit card and it was associated with this telephone number. Called the number and they didn't have any record of my being charged. Careful not to give out my credit card number.

Received another Car Warranty Expiration notice telephone call. I'm going to do some research into who is calling and report back.

In the mean time, I am guessing that this is not legit and it is a scam. Beware of giving any information out to anyone calling from this number.

What other numbers have you noticed them using? Please post them in this thread and/or create a new call report for them so we can know where to expect calls from! Thanks!

Called me about a credit card offer, caller name was Alex.

This call just came in on my cell phone. The caller identified himself as John and was calling about warranty services.

I asked him to remove me from his list and hung up.

Not sure what they were calling about as I hung up to quickly, now I wish they would call back!

I received a telephone call from this number, it was a recorded call about a mortgage refi. They asked me to press 1 to speak to a rep and 2 to be removed from the list. I didn't press anything I just hung up. Does anyone have any info on this number?

You are correct that this number is more than likely being faked. I did a quick reverse lookup on this number and it is shown as belonging to:

David Knier (620) 544-4187 Hugoton, KS 67951

This appears to be a residential number, so it is pretty obvious that this number is associated with a scam or fake caller ID.
