Funny that I paid for this app to not only block "private" numbers" which it failed to do here, but also to give me information on numbers, which it failed to do here, again. But found information about this number, easily,
by Googling it. This number belongs
to "Convergent Outsourcing", a known low-life collection agency that will scam you out of your funds, if they possibly can. Beware!

Hi. They may be pulling the common trick that scammers are using, which is dialing the number as though it's a foreign number, which then bypasses our blacklisted numbers because of the extra digits in front of their phone number. These extr digits don't appear on the caller ID. Dirty tricks by dirty scum
suckers.

Funny, but I blacklisted this very number just yesterday, and somehow it still got through just now as though it wasn't even blocked. What's going on here? I double checked, and sure enough, it's the same number, and it's on my blacklist.

This is an online insurance outfit that got my name, and mobile number from a form that I filled out (foolishly giving my private information) for a life insurance quote, only to be told that I didn't qualify, but there were companies that could help me. I found out, too late, that it's nothing more than a scam to sell overpriced, shoddy insurance policies to those who will fall for it. These particular idiots call multiple times per day, day after day, for a week or so, let up for a while, then start it again. I only found out who they were when I did *67 then dialed their number, which is local. They answered "E Financial, are you returning our call?". I just hung up then googled the name. Very bad company! Don't answer calls from these scammers for any reason whatsoever! I was also pestered relentlessly for several weeks by two local, apparently desperate insurance agents. I never answered because I didn't recognize the numbers. They both left messages, and I blocked both with Call Control Pro, as I have done with several other pests.

Caller: E Financial

call from multiple numbers

Regularly calls both my home, and mobile numbers.

I got this information from
googling the number since lookup on
call control has continually failed to
work.

This is an insurance agent that got my name, and number when I did an online enquiry about some life insurance. I did NOT ask to be contacted by agents! The website is apparently a scam for agents to get names, and numbers so they can badger people into buying overpriced policies. I NEVER received ANY information online, other than that I didn't qualify for their coverage, like I was promised that I would receive for giving information about myself. Stupid me fell for it! I usually NEVER fall for scams, but I did this time! NEVER again!
