This company calls every day using different numbers and names with the same guy's voice. Josh, Todd, Scott, and many more. Obnoxious at best.

A guy named Todd pitching wireless home security systems.

A recorded message notifies callers of an impending civil forfeiture by the IRS unless you call this number back right away. I knew it was a scam, but I called from another line. A man with a foreign accent answered as if this was the IRS Investigations Division. He immediately proceeded to work on me trying to get me to provide personal information and send them money. He hung up when he realized I was playing along and making fun of him. Remember, the IRS never calls you to notify you of any collection action, civil forfeiture or to request personal information or payment. Do not answer these calls!

Recording offering unsolicited credit card consumer services and much lower interest rates. If you select the option to connect, they will offer to lower your current interest rates and then ask you to provide personal information to steal your identity.

Recording of a man who speaks English with a foreign accent and claims his name is Daniel Roger calling to warn you about an impending enforcement action being filed against you by the US Treasury Dept (implying it's from the IRS). He urges you to call to avoid being jailed and says they can assist you with getting out of trouble, if you call promptly. It's an old scam and those who call will undoubtedly be ripped off. The IRS does not enforce collection actions over the phone. They will send you documents by mail and give you plenty of time to respond. Do not call these people back!

Promoting lower home insurance premiums

This outfit is a scam that pretends to be a legitimate business called Card Member Services. They make robo calls using different numbers. When you block one number, they call you with a new one. I reached one of their operators, a guy with a foreign accent, who started pitching a lower interest rate on behalf of Chase, Capital Bank and others. I asked him how he could offer lower rates for different competitors and he told me that all of them use them. I then asked to be removed from their call list or I would report them. He got nasty, told me to do whatever the f--- I want and hung up. So much for being a legitimate banking partner.

It appears that a robot or other automated device is calling my cell. It rings a couple of times and stops. When I dial back, a recording tells me this is not a number. I've received several calls from this number, but no one is on the line.
