Got a call from this number today stating that a case has been filed against me and that I need to pay immediately or my employer will be contacted. I have gotten this same call from multiple phone numbers. it turns out these people are hacking into phone lines that belong to real corporations and posing as a collection representativeÂ.
When I told the guy he was a scam artist and to remove my phone number immediately he hung up!
Be very careful of these guys they are clever, they even yell at you on the phone posing as an agent from the department of justice.
