I have seen numerous postings about this number originating from GMAC. The agency calling me identifies themselves as "Allied Solutions" (or something). For the record, I do not have any loans or outstanding credit through GMAC, and I do not own a car manufactured by GM.

I keep receiving unwanted calls from this credit agency, calling themselves "Ally Financial". The person (or persons) they are looking for do not live at my residence and I have asked them repeatedly to STOP calling. They apologize, promise to update their records, and the calls will stop....temporarily. After a couple of weeks the calls start up again and the name(s) of the person they are looking for may change. I have changed my phone number THREE times now, pay to have it unlisted and I am registered on the National Do-Not Call Registry. All, in an attempt to stop harassing and unwanted calls such as this. But, I can't get it to stop, although I have filed complaints on several complaint boards/forums. Can anyone please give me advice on how to get this madness to STOP!?
