My caller ID says it is Citimortgage and the caller says she/he is with Citimortgage and because I am in the process of a mortgage modification with them I always answer the phone, but we are always getting disconnected...sometimes after they place me on a long hold. Mortgage Outreach Services, who are compiling the modification package for Citimortgage tells me that my package is complete and soon will be sent to Citimortgage. They prequalified me for the reduced payment and I have paid exactly as they instructed me. I have called Citimortgage regarding these calls and they say the calls will continue until the modification is finalized. These calls are constant. They begin at 8:00 AM and continue, nearly hourly until late in the evening. Even on Sundays I don't get a break.
