Been getting calls from 1-844-514-6247 about a claim number and need to call them. got several calls with same message and because I was so annoyed I called them back. I spoke to someone and gave the claim number according to my phone message. I asked what it was all about. They said they're a collection agency (Transamerica) and collecting money from me for what I owe to a credit card in 1999. Luckily he mentioned the name of the bank card and I was able to call right away. The bank card told me I do not owe them anything and never referred me to a collection agency. I called this scam number back and they threatened me that they'll impose additional penalties if I don't pay. I told them that I called the bank card and I owe nothing and they hang up right away. I'm going to report them to the BBB as soon as possible.
