I'm on the Do Not Call list and this was just a straight up sales call.

Same old threat that I have 24 hours to respond or "the local cops" will pick me up for "four outstanding warrants".

It's getting to be a part-time job blocking and reporting this stupid recording. Every time a new number ☹

Idiotic "emergency" recording that there are "4 serious charges filed" against me and if I don't respond within 24 hours "you will be taken into custody by the local cops". Yes, they actually used the word "cops" while pretending to be the IRS 🙄.

Recording. Came from landline.

This is that recording that says the IRS has filed criminal charges against your account, and if you don't phone the given number within 24 hours, "your local police will pick you up".

Caller: "IRS" Scam

"Air quality alert for residents of your state" scam recording.

Caller: Recording

Something about "indoor air quality". I hung up after the first few recorded words. The recording then left THREE messages.

Caller: Recording

Second recorded call from this recording in under an hour. Landline from different area code than last time but still fairly local.

Ugh. Yet another recording from a landline in my area code. Can't block 'em fast enough!

I'm on the Do Not Call list, not that that means anything . . .

Caller: "Solar USA"

Just when life got better with the disappearance of "Rachel at Account Services" comes . . . "Heather at Account Services". Same exact recorded voice. Hollywood should make a horror movie.

Ugh. AARP must sell our info. The minute you qualify, these scams start. This spoofed a local landline phone number but the quality was tin-can echo-y and the caller barely spoke English. Trying to sell targets on "a just announced new program to cover final expenses"

Comes from a landline in my area code. Block one, another pops up :(.

One of those "your microsoft windows product has a virus" scam calls

Caller: Unstated

Wow I'm so sick of this recording. Block one and another pops up. They're from landlines in my area code or a nearby one.

Scam recording from landline within my state.

I need a keyboard shortcut to report these people. I block one number and the next pops up. "Elizabeth from Resort Rewards Center" (a recording) is so excited to inform me that because of my recent stay at their resort (HA! Like I've ever stayed at any resort) I've won . . . something. Who knows. I hang up by then. The calls always come from my local area code.

Caller: Recording

These telemarketing recordings are now coming from landlines in my area code, and as soon as I block one, another pops up.

Recorded "alert" from "Visa Account Services"
