Trying to get me to subscribe to my city's newspapaper.

Maybe AMEX? I had just hung up with an AMEX rep when I called to let them know I would be out of town for a week. I answered but there was no response on the other end. When I called back it's a MagicJack autoresponse saying "The MagicJack customer number you called is not in service"

Credit Card Scam to lower interest rates, pre-recorded message

Did not answer. No message left.

Credit card scam, "Review account and get a lower rate!" Pressed 1 to speak to a rep. Rang a dozen times before I got another recorded message "you are being transferred to a representative". When the rep answered I asked for his name and he hung up on me.

This time I answered, and pressed 1 to get an operator. When I asked her what her name was, she hung up on me.

I have had 6 calls from this number in the last week.

When I call back is says that the number is not in service.
