Caller with an Aisian, North African accent said, "You are having trouble with " web access I thing "turn on your PC so I can help you with it." I asked, "Where are you?" He responded, "Brooklyn". Could not understand him & I kept having to say, "What?". after the third time he saie, "Turn on your PC so I can help you with it." I hung up. I/WE did not call for "Help", did not know we needed "Help", did not want "Help", and so forth...
I have just about decided the increased speed of internet access, data transfer time may not be quite worth the security risk if someone I/WE have not enlisted services from can come up with our land line number and be assured, if they/he can, that we have WWW access and are, I/WE are not any more than anyone else, problems scares/frightens me/us!
