This is a variant on the silent call.
No information is exchanged beyond hellos, can you hear me, yes (pause), have you nothing to say (pause), caller "hangs up".
Scam is a guess. I answered and no one responded. I call it a silent call. Testing my number?
Selling coverage for funeral & burial expenses. I was too old and didn't qualify.
That's a guess. Voice was mostly unintelligible. Finally understood a question: "Do you recall that accident?". I asked what accident. No answer. This could be Spam or Scam.
This was what I call a Silent message. No sound of any kind. Then disconnected after 10 - 30 seconds. Suspect it is a test call.
Call had something to do with auto accident claims. I have not had a car for over a year. So, no interest.
This was what I call a silent call, presumably just testing my number. You don't list a caller type that fits.
Caller spoke unclearly. I think she asked if I was the owner of a house. I said no, and she disconnected after a short silence.
There was no response, just silence. I assume this is just a test to see if the number is live.
Possibly prank, a test to see if my phone number is a working one. There was silence followed by disconnect.
Caller was using 4-year out-of-date info on home ownership to sell something. Sorry I didn't play along to learn more.
Couldn't catch the name. Subject was funding funeral and burial expenses.
Info based on a callback for a missed message. The name might be real or generic, but I heard it clearly.
I am assuming the call type. I missed the call and, on calling back, was told I should block the call. Very strange.
Appears to legitimate. I have no plans to move, so such marketing is of no interest to me.
Missed call. On trying to return the call, heard "call cannot be completed as dialed".
I missed this call and calling back. Surprise: I got an answer. They knew what car I had, but not that I no longer had it. I think they were selling a warranty extension, but they may hve had more in mind. They did not lose interest until I told them I no longer drive.
Return call couldn't be completed as dialed. The caller had closed the call after only two "rings" - pretty impatient. All indications of spam to me.
Phone i s "not in service"
