in response to carl, if you have the free time tie up their lines, but use a skype or something to hide your number, I learned the hard way called back from my number and then suddenly had 5x the number of scammers calling me

The same MO as those below. They left a voice mail saying the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and I should call 206-823-3906. I can't believe these guys are still doing the same thing and don't get shut down! Just disgusting.

received a call, man said I was being sued by the IRS and to call 206-823-3906. Man identified himself as Ed Davis and had an accent.

Just received a call alleged to be from IRS from this number. Called back just to harass them. I suggest that you do the same. The more that we can tie up their lines, the less chance they have of scamming others.

Yep, I got the same call on my voicemail from someone posing as a rep of the IRS. Sounded like a recorded message by a male with an American accent. He siad this was a final warning and a lawsuit would be file if I didn't call back at 206-823-3906. I didn't call back, but reported the incident to the FTC and Treasury Dept.

THey called one to many times, so I called them back repeatedly over and over and got a different person each time. I demanded they stop calling my number. After about the 30th call I made to them, they finally started hanging up on me. Claimed they are the IRS and I have to call them immediately. Is their any way to get off this list?

I asked them for shield number or their IRS ID. They asked why. The FBI wanted it. No more calls.

I called them back probably 30 times continuously over and over telling them I had all day to play their games. Each time a different person answered and I told them to get my number off their list. They finally started hanging up on me. We'll see if they stop calling?

I received the same automated message on my answering machine and have verified it as a scam call.

a call came from 646-568-1992, man said it's IRS calling and they have a filed a lawsuit against me and to call 206-823-3906. Called it & a woman with an Indian accent answered saying IRS. I hung up!
