Caller said he was Victor Frank and gave me licence his DEA Rep number 3472511. Wanted me to verify my state licence number and NPI which he had but did not have my DEA number. I knew it was a scam immediately. Called from 800 882-9539 threatened me that if i did not answer his questions I would loose my license to practice.

We received a call today from Eric White claiming to be an officer with the DEA badge #3472518 and when he was asked for a phone number so we can verify who he was he gave us the DEA's # 202-307-1000. The DEA told us it was a scam and to report it to 877-792-2873. Eric did call back and was told to F**k off!

Got a similar call today from Eric White, foreign accent with a lot of background noise like he's in a call center. Addressed me as Dr. This. Said he was from the DEA. not sure why my phone didn't catch it as spam. Told him to send me an email with details of who he was and why he was calling me. Hung up and blocked his number ASAP.

Does anyone on this list have an NPI? I believe this is how they found my number. They referred to me as Dr. "My Name". I am not a physician but a health care practicitioner and I believe this is how they got my number, in addition why they thought I was a doctor

Officer Eric White claiming he is from DEA in Washington DC. Told him he sounds suspicious, then he asked if I got a call from the FBI. I said give me your number I will call back later. Number is 800-882-9529 from US Attorneys office press release but I did not call back

Eric White from "DEA in Washington, DC". states my name is associated with container of drugs confiscated across the border in Mexico. I was somewhat sarcastic and they said "this is Damn serious" and made other threatening scare tactics. that the police would be at my door, I'd have an arrest warrant. I told them this is a government phone and i'll be happy to check on this and report it to the OIG and they hung up.

Caller with a heavy middle eastern accent. He stated a name said he was with the Drug Enforcement Administration Officer Kevin Maguire and that my state license was going to be suspended in a few hours and that I needed to call him back at (202) 643-0277. There was a lot of background noise similar to a call center where ever it is that he is located.

Received a call from someone who sounded Indian. Said my license was being investigated for "unauthorized activity " . Could not verify my DEA number even though it is public knowledge. Could not tell me what states I am licensed in. Hung up on him and reported to DEA. Suspect phishing.

I received a call from this number by a foreign sounding man telling me that he was fro the DEA Drug Diversion Program. My phone identified it as Suspected Spam. I answered it anyway. He said I had been selling drugs. I ended up thanking him for the call and hanging up on him. I called the number back, and it is the actual number of the DEA.. This is a phishing scheme where they display a number but that is not the number that is being called from. I also get them from a number that says it is CVS. I called CVS, and they confirmed a phishing scheme was going on with their phone number and that they had not called me.
