Had the same call today. But he knew my name when I asked him what my name was. Very odd

Caller's name: John. Says he's with MS Tech services. I said I've never had a call from MS about my computer, so please LEAVE ME ALONE. He said "Your computer is going to crash". I told him I hoped he didn't have any luck with the next person on his list, either. So much for the "DO NOT CALL: registry.

Caller Id comes up as "John"... I have about 15 calls in my log from them. I used to work for a MS support service and we never called out when there was a problem, unless a scheduled call back. This guy can try with someone else!

Female from India telling me my computer was infected. Caller ID was from John. She turned me over to a "technician", also female from India. She had me enter fastheal.net in programs. It led me to a site where I could run or save an .exe file. I told her I do not run or save exe files that I do not know about. I said goodbye. She will be off to screw up someone else but not me. Her phone number is 1-845-842-7115..
Hope she does not get far doing this scam in the US

Stated they were from Windows support, would not give me the company name. When asked technical information about the "Error reports" they received regarding my computer, they were not able to answer any of them, even the most basic (which IP address was reporting the errors, etc.). When I stated I wanted to look up the company information on-line, they hung up.

from Miami Florida, but could not pronounce florida!

They called at 7:04 AM. Told me that my PC had a virus and only Microsoft can fix. I told him I work in IT and I do not require their assistance. He tried to tell me that only he can fix my PC. I am calling My Microsoft contact when I get into the office this morning. What an idiot.. Caller name was John...

Just got a call (multiple calls) from this moron claiming to be from Microsoft Support. Tried to tell me that my computer was sending a signal that it was going to crash because it had been infected with malware from going on the internet (and that my anti-virus software couldn't stop it.) He claimed that he could prove that he was from Microsoft by providing a call-back number. What a scam!
After I hung up on him he called back multiple times. I told him he wouldn't be calling back again and the fool actually argued with me about that. I hung up on him again and then blocked the phone number. He won't be calling me back.

I just got this call. I told him to never call this number again. it is 5:52am. He was also from india, name is john. they must have alot of johns living in india lol

I just received a phone call from this number – my Caller ID said JOHN. The caller had a very thick India Indian accent and asked for Stephanie (I have had this number for almost 20 years and no Stephanie has ever lived here). I asked him several times for the company he works for and he finally said “Yahoo / Microsoft.com Services”. I also asked him twice for his name and a valid call-back number but he continued to ask to speak with Stephanie. I told him twice to remove my number from his call lists but he just said that he would call back later and then abruptly hung up. What a jerk!!!

Called @ 6:15 am against law attempted to tell me in thick accent there's problems w/my computer he needed to help me so it didn't matter it's so early in morning!

I got the same type of call today. Very hard to understand what the guy was saying, but the same thing, calling to offer help with my computer that send some signals about a problem bs. Claiming to be from Microsoft and provide a number 888-441-9257 to call to verify them with the name of John Wilson, who has a very heavy Indian accent

Scammer claiming my computer was sending out signals that there is a problem. Caller who has a very thick accent advised he could fix it. I told him i didnt need one cause i have no internet here since its not a primary residence. He said okay that he would shutdowny internet signal then. Threaten me.

Called six times today; what a scam!

They call but do not respond when you answer the phone. Really creepy.
