They said they were federal law enforcement and I had a lawsuit against me for an unpaid tax. When I asked for the tax code so I could look it up, the woman got agitated and said it was not a tax code thing. She hung up on me and now blocked my number.

They called me saying they were the IRS and we're going to arrest me if I did not pay my federal grants and they even had a +1 911 number call me literally had me crying all around campus not knowing what to do because I told them those were false accusations and they told me they had a warrant out ready to send... Than I realized they were a scam after I had cried and called my mom

This number called me saying they were the federal government. They knew my address and my name and birthday. They started that I had 45 minutes to pay the taxes on my student grant money I received for school or I would be arrested. They wanted my bank account information. Come on. I'm not stupid
