I just received a threatening vmail from the same person everyone on here is referring to and he wanted to wish me luck. Really! Bring IT!

I got the same voicemail. They kept calling threatening me so i decided to make sure they never wanted to call me again. I spent 20 minutes of my time calling them back over and over telling them that they need to stop scamming people and they are pathetic. I called again and the number had been disconnected!!! Hahahaha, I guess i win!! Ridiculous people!!

I've gotten this same type of scam call in the past, hadn't had one in awhile but they started up again yesterday. Called this morning and left a voicemail, a man named "Jason Smith" with Heavy accent, a fake tough guy attitude, tried to sound threatening the the voicemail claiming if he didn't hear from me or my attorney that he "wishes me best of luck as the situation unfolds" but never once states the matter of the phone call. Funny thing is I got the same voicemail yesterday (same voice and practically identical message) from a different number (646) 650-3032 except the man claimed his name was "Jason Clark". Don't waste your time answering the call or listening to voicemails for this number (or the other number I mention in this post), SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Got the same message on my Voicemail. Received 2 calls from same number the same day / Jason Smith / caller ID gave New York
1st- 11347-342-0307..... 2nd- 347-342-0307 - Threatening if I did Not return call... I did NOT call them back. I know it is a Scam. I work for the Fed Gov't and will turn the threatening info over to them.
This Pain in the A$$ is a Fraud.

The guy was a real jerk. He said I owed a bunch of money for bank fraud and was threatening me. He was foreign spoke English but just well enough to be a jerk.

He said his name was Jason Smith with nsca. Hebsaidbthat if I did not contact him immediately he would have no choice but to turn me over to an attorney and the consequences would be devastating. He repeated the number and said that if I chose not to return his call he wished me luck. Isn't this illegal?

I GOT THE SAME CALL.SAID HIS NAME WAS JASON SMITH AND I NEEDED TO RETURN HIS CALL IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS ALL A SCAM AND I WOULD LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THESE IDIOTS. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THESE FOOLS FROM INDIA HAVE CALLED. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER TWO YEARS AND ALWAYS THE SAME THING.

I got a call from this Jason Smith guy today. It was actually funny. He tried his best to be a tough guy but with that accent it just made me laugh.
I've been calling them back harassing them for a couple of hours.

The second I started talking to them thankfully I knew this was a scam! They barely speak English, are calling from a fake attorney office they say is in new York, could not tell me who the initial creditor was and just kept transferring every time I asked. I got so angry I actually swore and hung up. He then proceeded to call me back and say thanks for the recording. You are so welcome! It is kind of scary they did have the last four of my ss.

Same as all above -- guy called my girlfriend, left aggressive message threatening legal action, etc. I called back and had a WONDERFUL conversation with him. I recommend you all do the same.

Granted we cannot file charges and/or do anything to this clown, you can certainly give him a piece of your mind!

Funniest part was, the gentleman that answered sounded exactly like "Jason Smith" but when I asked his name, he became a "Jason Richards" --- Mr. Smith was unavailable. At which point I couldn't help but point out to him the irony of an office full of "Jason's" that clearly is an office full of Habib's . . .
