This is a legitimate verification number. It is very helpful. If you did not request the call, it just means that somebody gave Microsoft a random number that happened to be yours, not realizing that i they were depriving themselves of the code number and annoying another person..

This is Microsoft and possibly other verification needed apps use this. Either someone entered their number incorrectly or you do not know what you have set up or initiated.

This is not a spam call. Microsoft uses this to verify your outlook account. Perhaps other companies are too. If you want got this call and didn't need to verify anything, it's possible that someone entered the wrong number.

Yahoo! SMS service
I have NEVER shared my phone number with Yahoo! and I DID NOT choose to opt in for SMS (or anything else, for that matter) I have never entered my phone number on anything linked from Yahoo! either. They DO NOT have my number, or at least, they should not have it.

This is a one time password. In my case it was from godaddy.com. It's not a scam I requested it.

I submit this as a surveyor but I'm not sure. It is computer generated and the voice says "thank you for using call verification" then provides a verification number. Calls come in threes a few seconds apart and I received them beginning today. I called TELUS and reported this a few moments ago.

recorded message said, "this is your personal phone identification code #####. thank you."

They did not identify the company or service, and called me 7 times in 1 hour.
