I tried requesting a call back from Amazon customer service, when I put in my cell number it came back as invalid( written in red) and was directed to call 1-888-280-4331. Not doing it I was scammed about two years ago. Not falling for it. But I am blocked to call Amazon true number.

I called this ' Amazon' number and was told I qualified for a 'free $100 credit with Amazon'. Said I was not interested (as there is always a catch). Middle East/Indian guy). Kept going on and on about free $100. Then said I only needed to pay a shipping fee of $5 for the card. I told him I do not use any credit cards nor bank card.(I don't). He kept insisting I must have a credit/bank card. Told him I bought a prepaid card for the item I wanted to order from Amazon only (inexpensive item). He hung up on me. I called back and got same response. This is a scam. Somehow they have listed this number online as Amazon. It is not.

I got 2 missed calls from 1888-280-4331 on my Google Voice today I never picked up on from this Amazon Hub number. This is the same number I call Amazon customer service from. A scammer may be an actual Amazon employee likely from another country since this is where my Amazon customer service calls are transferred, they must be running a side scam for their own benefit against Amazon company policy.

I went into Amazon to see if I could contact them by phone since our pc was compromised and the number listed is 1 888 280 4331.

called them because they keep charging me 9.88 on my credit card. Spoke with a women on fri or sat and was told that I would get a refund in 3 to 5 days. They went on my credit card again today and tried to take out 9.88. Called them back and this person that I spoke with told me she can't find my card with the ending four digits.

Called our house this morning stating that someone made a purchase of an iphone on our Amazon account and they needed to verify our account. I called the number back and you get the Recording saying "you have reached Amazon Customer Service" etc. They want to send you a link to verify your account. scam!!!

same thing almost happend to me. Only they were trying to get me to call THEM! BEFORE THEY STATED SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO GET A IPHONE OFF MY CREDIT CARD WITH AMAZON-HA HA I DON'T HAVE ONE!

Same thing happened to me this afternoon. Luckily my service provider is able to prompt me if it is a scam call and that helped otherwise I would have probably become a victim of the scam.
