I received a phone call yesterday and after I started out saying several times saying I am not buying anything... I don't want anything and remove my number he kept saying it is free. I had the time so why not let him waste his time trying to get me to do what he wanted. Well after a little while he said that all he needed for the 500 grocery card was a credit card to pay the 4.95 shipping and handling. He told me that he needed the card so that he could get the number and print the exact same number on my "free" 500 grocery card. I started laughing ... and asked him does he think we Americans are this stupid. After a while I told him finally that I don't have any credit cards or debit cards. I was told that I could get a debit card from my bank and he would call back.... and low and behold he just called back... I hope he gets his thrills because he will never talk to me again...

These people (Indian) called me a few times today while I was out shopping. They offered me a $500. shopping card for food on the first call. After I hung up they called back almost immediately offering a $200. gas card. Yet again I hung up saying don't call me. After I got home I did some research on this number. They are scammers just trying to get your cc info. As I'm searching more info about this bogus company the phone rang again, it was them. I decided to have some fun and kept them on the phone for a good 25mins. before I had enough. At that point I started asking for their home phone number so I could call them later on to ask them for their cc info and such. Anyway, I don't think they will be calling me again. I had the old lady cracking up while I had them on speaker phone. I was acting dumb like they had me but guess what, they didn't.

Received 3 calls this morning - starting at 830a...hang up. Caller ID indicated Telemarketing SPAM. They called back at 910a talked to my husband. My husband told them we were on the no call list and told him he had won a $500 grocery card. My husband hung up after telling him not to call back. Third call came at 912a...I answered the phone. He asked for the owner of this number. I told him it was me and he questioned me about it. I asked him what he wanted, he never would tell me. I told him I was on a no call list and he argued with me; told me to give him the confirmation number and that I was a liar. I told him not to call back. He said they would continue to call back. I hung up from him. I dialed the phone number back--a recording said: "thank you for calling back. if you do not want anymore calls from this number, please press 1". I did press 1 but now wonder if there will be a large charge for the something. I am going to report this to the Mo. Attny General's office.

Same thing as most of the other reports. they kept calling every day, twice a day. I said I wasn't interested and asked them to stop calling. They continued calling. When I asked where they were calling from they said American Auto Benefits in Phoenix, AZ. They wanted to send $200 gift card for use at any gas station if I gave them a Visa or Mastercard number for verification of my address. I refused and said that I didn't have a car, credit cards, or any money to pay for the shipping. He sadly said ok and our 10 minute conversation ended. I called the number back and within 10 seconds I was able to take my number off the call list through a recorded message. I'd love to hear what happens when someone actually agrees to this!

I received the same call. Could barely understand the man of the phone. Offered a $200 gas card. I said fine to everything until I saw these posts that I looked up while I was on the line with them. He told me that there would be no charge until the "package arrives". The finally asked for my credit card number. I told him that I do not give this info out over the phone and hung up. He had my full name, address, and home phone number. When you call the number backm the message tells you how to be removed from their list. What a scam.

I received this phone call three or four times today and I finally answered. I spoke to a girl named Aliana Wilkes and she had began explaining that she worked for a company called American Auto Benefit and that I had won a 200 dollar gas voucher for being a visa or mastercard holder. I asked her how I won this and she simply said that because I used my debit/credit card, that i paid my bills on time, and that I used my card to purchase gas that I had been put into a drawing for this gas voucher. She then continued to tell me that I was not signing up for anything or going to cost me but that I could get this 200 dollar gas card for free. All she needed was my First and Last Name, mailing address(to mail the card to) my expiration date on my card, and my card number. I quickly disagreed to give her my information and she then snapped back at me that I would not be charged FOR ANYTHING! I thencontinued and I had to be transferred to another department to get my varification number for the card i would be receiving in the mail. A new person came on, a guy. He however did not tell me his name but told me to listen to a 3 peice phone call that all i would do is say yes three times when told to and he would come back on the line to give me the pin. He also told me that I could not ask him any questions between each question because he only has 20 seconds to talk, if he did talk we would have to restart the questions. While going through the questions they were explaing that i would be charged 1.90 for the first "yes" 1.00 for the second "yes" and 1.00 for the third "yes" and I could get the 200 dollar gas card. I said no to the first one and I IMMEDIATLY got disconnected from the line. I called back and removed my number from there list. I have already cancelled my checking account and will be contacting the right people about them.

My 17 year old son got a call from this number on his cell phone. They told him that he won a $500 gift card and asked for his name/address/credit card number which he gave them. They said there would be a 4.95 charge for the gift card!

Once I found out about this, I had him empty the bank account attached to the card before they took his money. I also reported this to the Florida Attorney General (where we live) and the California Consumer Fraud Division (where number is originating from)
