Statell, LLC daily call on land line which is on no call list. Obviously robo call as goes to my VM which is only a hang up.

I haven't answered phone because I don't recognize company; phone number; and no message is ever left. I am also on Do Not Call list so I don't answer these types of calls; but as one caller pointed out they are annoying because the calls come in at all times of the day and I just hope someone can stop this and was done with the IRS scam callers being arrested.

Obvious autodialer. These insidious machines call dozens and perhaps hundreds of numbers per minute. The human operator(s) then pick up some of the answered numbers, most hear dead lines or robo-message.
this time, it was dead air. No way to block with my super-modern telcom provider...

2032748586 from STARTEL,LLC on 10/04/16. Said they wanted to help me on gas bill. Oh sure!!! Kept them on home after saying no thanks, so it would burn up "their" minutes. Then called number back. No Dice on that one. Just be ware.

Typical robo-dial/scammer call pattern - phone rings, do not recognize number, do not answer, rolls over to voice mail, no message left = SCAMMER = BLOCKED ! ! !

Calls constantly at all hours for the last 6 months even though I am on the do not call list. It rings 3 times and they hang up.

That's because these calls are made by CRIMINALS. They aren't real companies, most of which honor DNC. They use spoofed (fake) caller ID, and they are only trying to trick you into giving them some personal info like a credit card number, SS #, bank account #, etc. so they can steal from you.. Why do you feel CRIMINALS are going to obey the law? Not the fault of DNC.

The person, Steve, said he was from Star Energy and was calling on behalf of Connecticut Light and Power. I called CL+P, and they did not authorize this company to call.

Startel, LLC calling on behalf of Starion Energy to lower my electric rate. Caller insisted I "go get my bill" to give him the information he needed. I told him to take me off his call list and he slammed down the phone!
